WKA National Championships

The World Karate Association holds national competitions at the George H Carnall Sports Centre near junction 9 of the M60. The competitions are open to all competitors and are often used for selecting the England national team for the WKA World Championships.

Members of the Phoenix Karate Association regularly compete in the WKA National Championships in Manchester, with Phoenix Members regularly being selected to fight for England at the World Championships.
