Yorkshire Karate Championships

The Yorkshire Karate Championships are held 3 times a year at the Rothwell Leisure Centre near junction 30 of the M62, the competition attracts the best competitors from all over Yorkshire to compete in both Semi Contact Kumate and Kata. The Yorkshire Karate Championships are organised by the Leeds SSK in association with the Phoenix Karate Association.

The 2009 dates for the Yorkshire Karate Championships are as follows:

• Sunday 12th April
• Sunday 26th July
• Sunday 25th October

Doors open at 9:20am, the competition starts with Kata at 11:30am prompt.
Kata entries must be registered by 11:00am and Kumate entries must be registered by 12:00pm.
